Brittany Ferries. The Cherbourg-Mouguerre multimodal motorway will open in 2024.

The project has been in the works for several years: the Breton shipping company Brittany Ferries is set to establish a rail motorway linking the port of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin to the European freight centre in Mouguerre, near Bayonne. This new link will connect Spain, Great Britain and Ireland via the French rail network. The opening of this multimodal line is scheduled for spring 2024.
