Draisy, the "very light" train developed by Alsatian industrialist Lohr to revitalize small regional lines, should be on the market from 2027. The Grand Est region intends to be its first supporter, hosting an initial trial from 2025 on a section of the Bitche-Sarreguemines line in Lorraine.
Small, light, autonomous, less costly to maintain… Alsace-based Lohr’s rail project has it all. Designed to revive disused railway lines, it should be on the rails in 2026.
