Lohr’s energy-efficient future 100% electric train will be recharged on the tracks

Lohr, in collaboration with SNCF and other public partners, is advancing the Draisy project, a light electric rail shuttle designed to revitalize small lines. At a meeting held in Duppigheim (Bas-Rhin) on June 26, 2025, the project stakeholders presented a major breakthrough: the development of a charging system that uses direct contact with the rails, directly at the station.
